Tips: On the Glacier Express, the right-hand side leaving Zermatt has the best views climbing to Andermatt; the left side wins on the Albula descent into St Moritz — your Excellence host will sort you out. Excellence Class has a minimum age of 18 and seats are non-rotating, so check your direction of travel when booking. On the Bernina Express, sit on the right-hand side leaving St Moritz for the Morteratsch Glacier and Lago Bianco views, then watch the left side for the Brusio circular viaduct near the Italian border. Allow time before each premium service — the welcome experience starts the moment you board.
